All clothing should be pressed, no rips/tears/stains. Zippers must work and there should be no missing buttons. The appearance of your items will do much to help them sell. The newer your clothes look, the better they will sell.
We cannot accept: improperly-tagged items; out-of-season clothing; out-of-date clothing, junior, or men's clothing, clothing that is stained, has missing buttons, holes, broken zippers, etc. Bring only quality items that are seasonally appropriate. NO "GOODWILL ITEMS" please. If you would not buy it, no one else will. If in doubt, leave it out.
Encourage others to consign. The more we have to participate and to come shop, the better we all will do.
You must get a consignor number. Click here to receive your number.
Description - be very descriptive. Do not write "blue dress." Instead write "navy knit dress with elastic waist by Elisabeth." If a tag is lost, we can match it with the item only if we have a good description. Neatness counts.
Sizes should be XL, 14W, 14 WP, 16W, 16WP, etc. 1X, 2X, etc.
All clothing and lingerie must be on hangers. Hang all garments on hangers with swivel metal hooks or on wire hangers with the hanger head facing the left shoulder and the tag pinned to the right shoulder of the garment as you face it. DO NOT USE PLASTIC TUBULAR HANGERS. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER PLASTIC HANGERS. Pants should be pinned at the waist with large safety pins. A great way to keeps pants from sliding all over the hanger is to use paper-covered dry cleaner's hangers.
Pin the bar code to the right side of the garmet as you are looking at the garment. DO NOT USE STRAIGHT PINS. Do not pin the tag to the hanger. It may get lost during the trying on process.
Shoes limit 10 - In excellent condition. Use masking tape to mark the Consignor number, size, and price on the soles of each shoe. A bar code tag should be made and slipped inside the shoe. No Shoe Boxes.
Place jewelry and small accessories in a ziplock bag. Pin the bar code tag to the outside of the bag. Do not put the card inside the bag.
Clothes should be sorted by size. This helps during receiving.
IMPORTANT - You set the price of all items. Use $1 increments. If you do not want your items to sell at the 1/2 price sale, write N.D. on the card near the price for no discount at the 1/2 off sale on Saturday."
